Sissy-Boy switches to headless Shopware platform
Fashion and lifestyle brand Sissy-Boy, part of Termeer Groep, is joining forces with XSARUS to rebuild its e-commerce platform to a headless setup based on Shopware. In doing so, it is following the direction of Sacha and Manfield, also part of Termeer Groep, who successfully made the switch earlier.
Sissy-Boy operates 48 physical shops alongside its webshop and is known for its unique, colourful and broad assortment – from clothing and shoes to furniture and home accessories.

Headless setup that offers freedom
The current e-commerce platform of Sissy-Boy had reached end-of-life and was due for renewal. The brand is therefore switching to a future-proof IT architecture, sharing the same technical foundation as Sacha and Manfield. The headless setup comprises Shopware 6 as the powerful e-commerce engine and Prismic as the content management system. The benefit of this headless set-up is more creative freedom and experience, through blogs, videos and photography. It is also simpler to add smart technologies, for example in the areas of intelligent search & navigation, segmentation, personalisation and loyalty.
In addition to the rebuild of the e-commerce platform, Shopware will also be integrated with existing backend systems such as TableTop Order Management, inriver PIM and Deployteq. This combination of tools gives Sissy-Boy limitless potential.
User-friendly sofa configurator
For Sissy-Boy’s modular sofas, XSARUS is developing a configurator that will be directly integrated into the product detail page. This allows customers to easily create their own sofa, choosing the arrangement, fabric and colour. Still unsure about the fabric? The configurator also offers the option to order fabric samples. A customer-centric solution that seamlessly connects inspiration, orientation, and conversion.

Although the webshop is anatomically identical to other Termeer Groep brands, the look and feel will be entirely tailored to Sissy-Boy. This means that consumers won’t notice the webshop shares the same foundation as Sacha and Manfield. We ensure an online experience that perfectly matches the Sissy-Boy brand identity in every detail, and which also aligns fully with the physical shops.
