Sfeer.nl achieves 12.8% conversion growth thanks to optimized product pages

Over just five years, Sfeer.nl has grown into a leading player and trendsetter in furniture and accessories. This success is partly driven by personal service and effective inventory management. The partnership between Sfeer.nl and XSARUS has been strong for years. Sfeer.nl’s ambition: inspire customers to boost conversion and build a loyal customer base.

Waar en waarom haken je bezoekers af? 

To find out what was happening, we first dove into the data. It revealed that the product detail pages were a key stumbling block. This issue occurred across all devices. But visitors themselves are best suited to explain why they drop off. That is why we involved them through an on page survey using Hotjar. A survey pop up appeared on the product detail pages. Hundreds of users responded, and a quarter of them said the product information was insufficient. Time to improve the shopping experience.

Relevant product detail pages

Vague product dimensions. Unclear warranty conditions. And a lack of detailed product photos. Plenty for our UX experts and conversion specialists to work with. By adding product photos including dimensions, visitors now immediately see the most important details. We also expanded the technical specifications with detailed measurements and extra information such as product load capacity.

Result of the optimizations

The impact became clear quickly. The add to cart rate increased by 9% and conversion rose by as much as 12.8%. The product detail pages are now far more relevant, guiding visitors better and convincing them to purchase After achieving these strong results, the partnership between Sfeer.nl and XSARUS did not stop. We continue to work closely together to keep improving the user experience, increase conversion, and grow an even more loyal customer base.
